She made her way into the hearts in country music writing her own material, and the songs that have come from it appear on her debut and sophomore albums. Veronica Ballestrini may only be 23, though at the young age is profoundly wise beyond her years giving fans and music insiders the real Veronica, goofy and down right enjoyable to watch perform. At Tuesday night's live STAGE IT show Ballestrini might have walked into some technical difficulties, brought on her A game jumping right into a brand new song she wrote. "Working out on new music, not sure of the title yet", she explains. The freshing unpolished sound was in fact a delight, acoustically beautiful, and after the first performance says, "I just wrote that one".

Into her second performance Ballestrini charmed her audience with a ballad and though the image would fade in and out the sound of her voice carried through. Honestly speaking Veronica mentions she recorded her last album independently with no label. From a girls point of view that is girl power. Ballastrini truly has her heart where it is she says to fans "follow your heart to do what you love, I appreciate all your support". I couldn't agree more with her, do what it is that you love, put your whole heart into even if it means working hard for it. "I'm going to sing another song off the new album FLIPSIDE, it's called "Break", she says. "Break" isn't your typical love song, it has it's sassiness, it's own flare and Ballestrini pulls it off. Fans were so anxious enough to know were Cash was, Cash is her adorable little pup. As soon as word got out Cash made his appearance and boy is he ever cute. I soon mentioned when Veronica made her online debut on the once popular social network Myspace, and as she pointed out that was 10 years ago. In that time Ballestrini made the transition from teenager to adult and was just 16 when she wrote the song "Don't Say". People ask her all the time how do you even know about love?, she replies, "It's just the situations I've been through". "Now I'm going over to play on the piano for you, I'm not the best piano player I've just started playing", she explains performing a new song "Living These Lies" on piano. The tearfully haunting ballad is made for radio airplay and could very well be a single we'll hear more of. The tears were welting up in her afterwards. Truly giggly and laughing at some of the comments were priceless everyone in chat mode were having such fun lost track of time and soon before we knew it was coming close to an encore. Performing her most recent single "Cookies and Cream". The fun loving, summer time song had me thinking of summer weather in the cold snowy weather we're all facing in the MidWest and East Coast of these long winter months. Ballestrini couldn't remember the words laughing yet pulled it off in her own way. "I love playing new songs !", she exclaims. Before wrapping it up performed "Lonely Alone" and the very first song she ever wrote " Guys Like You". As most girls know some guys just don't understand what us girls go through. To finish the session Veronica had 3 minutes left and sang a random made up song.  STAGE IT shows are unpredictable as you never know what comes from them. Ballestrini sent out kisses to everyone and mentions the giveaway prize for the top tipper as the night was complete.
