Nothing like putting it bluntly, Tammie Davis sings it directly in her 1st single release of 2015. "Confused" has traditional written in the stars and her approach on the midtempo track is refreshing.  Nothing more than sugar coating, it's all spice, honky tonk, southern rock infusion with little mainstream country. It reminiscences the days of Barbara Mandrell and Crystal Gayle at the height of the careers. "Confused" has it's hook and catch, "Am I going crazy oh baby aren't you the one who left. Is my memory failing didn't you just trade me in for someone else. Now you bring your broken heart to me and I don't understand you got me so confused."

Now, that is sass and spice combined staying true to her country southern roots. Davis is following in the footsteps of her fellow female counterparts nicely. "Confused" is country radio appeal female empowerment at it's best. Listeners of all ages will understand and not leave them confused. The lyrics ring true don't let anyone fool you when it comes to love. It goes both ways.
