When it comes to take a stand on the music you'll  hear it from Kip Moore who's ever appreciative of the ride of the past few years he's had, and it's no doubt Kip Moore fans are with him that was quite the case Sunday May 17th for the WQMX Charity Concert Series hosted by the station and ACM award winner in medium market radio. Moore's fan base is larger than life these days and it clearly showed for the sold out concert. Fans lined up as early as noon just for Moore at the Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown,Ohio. The compacity alone before doors opened at 5 pm stretched as far to the tour bus, and that is saying a lot. The attention Kip gives to fans will not leave you questioning the insanity. Moore's  unfiltered mouth is real, honest and to the core of who he is, make no mistake of it.  The hour show was even more to handle with wall to wall fan action wanting Moore and his buff bod, and yes, female fans. In Kip's words the fans have made it what it is for his music and success, yet what was most important is the supportive nature the staff and crew of WQMX 94.9FM from Sue Wilson, Scott Wynn, Sarah Kay, Lynn Kelly, George McFly, Jodie Wheatley to name from the crew and staff of the Dusty Armadillo have been so gracious with Kip since the beginning. Performing the fastest rising single of his career "Somethin' Bout A Truck" to his very 1st single release "Mary Was The Marrying Kind" Moore's passion exudes on stage. At one point Kip tells the crowd what his take is on fame,he explains.  The wackiest moment during a performance was the look on Moore's face as a brawl broke out in which he asked, "what just happened?" afterwards. Performing several songs from his Up All Night debut Moore delivered and is anxiously awaiting to release his highly anticipated sophomore album apologzing to fans that it will come. The time spent writing, pouring his soul and heart into the music is what it is to Moore. The quaility of the sound and the meaning behind a song, it's all about lyrics. Already to be released on the sophomore album are the singles "Dirt Road" and "I'm To Blame" two of the songs performed during the hour set including a new song titled "Separate Ways". Clearly Moore's songwriting speaks volumes of the man he is and the road he has traveled. The set included "Beer Money", "Crazy One More Time", "Hey Pretty Girl",  "Reckless (Still Growin' Up)", and "Up All Night". As far as Moore is concerned has learned to remain humble and appreciative through it all, and thanked everyone for coming out. Yet there was a piece of news to give Moore tells fans,he gleefully expressed. Ohio is the rock and foundation for Kip Moore mainia.
